Professional Background & Standards

Hi, I’m Quinn.

My background includes a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology, together with professional training in clinical hypnotherapy and psychotherapy through the Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (ICHP Australia).

Over the past decade I have also worked extensively in corporate learning, leadership development, coaching, and mental wellbeing training, helping people navigate stress, performance pressure, confidence challenges, and personal change. This experience allows me to combine psychological insight with practical, real-world strategies that clients can apply in everyday life.

In my approach, I believe that many emotional struggles are not signs of weakness. Often they are automatic patterns that developed over time as ways of coping, protecting ourselves, or responding to difficult experiences.

Rather than fighting those patterns, therapy aims to understand them and help them change in a safer and healthier direction.

My work integrates psychotherapy and clinical hypnotherapy, combining thoughtful conversation with deeper work involving the subconscious mind when appropriate. Sessions are collaborative, respectful, and tailored to each person’s needs and goals.

I am a registered member of the Guild of Australian Hypnotherapists, which is affiliated with the Hypnotherapy Council of Australia. I maintain regular professional supervision and ongoing continuing professional development to ensure that my practice remains safe, ethical, and clinically informed.

Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, stress, trauma, unwanted habits, confidence, or personal growth, my aim is to provide a calm and confidential space where meaningful change can occur.
